Psittacine breeding and hand rearing

For 5 years, I was part of a parrot breeding project, where I was responsible for the care of the breeding animals, their welfare, and reproductive stimulation.

I closely monitored the reproductive process, from observing the parent birds to caring for the eggs and chicks throughout the year. Additionally, I assisted with artificial incubation when necessary, and mainly, with hand-rearing the individuals.

My approach to this aspect has always been guided by scientific evidence, prioritizing a technical and empirical approach to ensure the success of breeding and the care of these species.
