Artificial breeding of Scarlet Ibis

I have directed and actively participated in the hand-rearing process of a Scarlet Ibis chick that fell from its nest in a zoo. The parents did not take care of raising the animal, so it was necessary to intervene.

I have been responsible for searching for information on professional breeding protocols for this species, as well as obtaining the necessary food products.

I have also developed a protocol for rearing and monitoring the development of the chick to achieve the best possible results in a situation that was as unexpected as it was new to me.
