Participation in the Quality of Life Assessment of a Geriatric Capuchin Monkey

I was part of a program to assess the quality of life of an elderly capuchin monkey (Sapajus apella), with the goal of estimating its level of suffering due to chronic issues affecting its musculoskeletal system.

In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of more than 10 people, I contributed to the development of the data collection methodology, the recording of behaviors, and the analysis of the animal's behavior.

Our work allowed us to draw well-founded conclusions regarding the monkey's well-being, providing valuable information to improve its quality of life and ensure it received the appropriate care.
