Evaluation of enclosures for psittacines through behavioral analysis

I have led the evaluation of the suitability of enclosures for psittacines through a comparative analysis of the behavior of animals housed in two different environments.

We developed a generic ethogram tailored to the species being evaluated and recorded their behavior over several weeks, in collaboration with the team of caretakers and interns. We analyzed the data and compared it with the behavior of similar species in the wild.

Finally, we compiled a report justifying the need to modify one of the enclosures to make it more similar to the natural environment, based on the behavioral data obtained.
